Your Carbon Dioxide Threshold is the point at which you are triggered by the chemoreceptors in your body to take an inhalation. The chemoreceptors sense the Co2 rising and panic sets in. The CO2 threshold has been correlated directly with state anxiety. Meaning, the higher your CO2 threshold, the lower your resting state of anxiety and the less you are triggered by tiny (or large) stressors throughout the day. Test yourself when you start the method and at the 8 week point after being consistent minimum 3x per week. You will be delighted with your results!
