WORKOUT GOAL: CORE strength
The multifidi is one my my favorite muscle groups to train! Not only does it help to prevent injury in the low back, but it also assists in rehabilitation after a low back injury. This workout uses resistance at light weight in order to target the mulitifidi amongst other core muscles in this core routine that also challenges breath-holds at level 7 Breathography (your respiratory system will get as much work as your core!).
EQUIPMENT:
1. Pilates Mini Ball
2. AbRibbon
3. Chair
4. Ankle/Wrist weights
5. Theraband or Pull Up Assist band (light) tethered at navel height
